Republic = not a monarchy. Our leaders aren’t monarchs because they’re limited by a constitution and can be removed by a vote. There are no leaders in buildr currently, so it’s a pure democracy. Making it a republic would require voting for a President, or perhaps a Parliament/Congress of Buildr.
If you want to abolish the democratic aspect of buildr, petition in favour of putting a king, despot, emperor or other unelected ruler in charge of things. man-man edited this message on 09/03/2009 5:17PM |
