Emphasis mine. Good trolling won’t make the klan look bad. Terrible fail trolling will make everyone involved look bad. I suggest you lurk on IDC and read lots of threads in the Troll Hole so you can get a feel for what types of trolling people find enjoyable. Take the general feel and attitude of some the more successful trolls and make it your own.

Common troll mistakes are

• Trolling Civil Discussion threads. These are the blue ones and are no trolling allowed. This results in a ban.
• Being too similar to another troll. Don’t copy someone’s shtick
• Coming across as bumhurt. Suddenly, instead of doing the trolling you’re the one being trolled.
• Being whiny. Trolls get banned. It’ll happen. Don’t whine about it. Also, don’t constantly beg for Log in to see images!
