Nethack backwards is where a god returns to the mortal realms, to give an amulet to a powerful wizard, and fill a dungeon with monsters to protect it. At the same time he drops gold and items for an authentic feel, gives shopkeepers some items, and revives an extinct species or two. Eventually he leaves the dungeon, becomes mortal, and presumably leads a normal life as a <insert clbum here>.
