The fact that people are saying, “I agree with that choice, but not that choice” is a strong indication that a fairly decent cross section (considering the small size of the group) was achieved.

Remember, you as an individual are not specifically a cross-section of the community.

More importantly, before you gripe about not being represented, first you need to point out exactly what decisions were made that you disagreed with. So far, the changes that have been made have been popular ones. Yes, some people dislike certain changes,but that’s going to happen in any community.

Finally, consider the fact that these changes actually did factor in community member input. In most forums I’ve been to, it’s entirely a closed-session decision making process. That’s why every was surprised to hear that about half of the group were players, and not Mods/Admin. So, basically, the complaint here isn’t really about a lack of representation, per se.
