You are forgetting, there are still children. Which demographic a game is marketed towards is irrelevant. If the game was any good, it would attract new players in it’s target demographic. Clearly Pokemon could not do that, and the reason was that it was a terrible game with horrible imbalances.

it’s a different group of children, and children’s intrests are D Y N A M I C

kids nowadays play the yu gi oh (also better game than autisim: the gathering) because it intrests them more than pokemon, which has become an aspie hobby as well

used to, kids liked to play with hoops they knocked down roads with sticks
