And again, I ask you if you posted a thread to inform players of what your klan was going to do (without revealing the exact details of the exploit, of course) since that would seem to be the most reasonable solution to prevent the “accusations” of cheating that are now being levied your klan’s way.

The issue is a moral one, I think: people that had NOT used this exploit were being hammered by people that were. That doesn’t exactly give you or your klan a good moral high ground.

Of course, if Evil Trout posts to say that s/he was informed of your actions before you underwent them, things might be a bit different.
