How about Frank Herbert’s The Dragon in the Sea. Its shorter than the last I suggested. Its about a four man submarine crew with a possibility of a saboteur aboard. Like most Frank Herbert works there is a lot of elements of psychology.

Okay I just came back from the library and this came with me. Lets see if its as good as I remember.
