I kind of agree with Ricket.

I don’t want an achievement lowered in stature just to coddle the players who feel slighted. If an oldfabulous person has the leaderboard, they deserve the spot.

I’ve also never understood the point of “retire the leaderboard so no one can get it.”

That’s absolutely, 100% moronic. It’s saying, “Let’s take a board that has a low possibility of ever changing” and make it “Let’s have a board with no possibility whatsoever of changing.” And that’s an improvement HOW? Because you can stop working for it? Please.

I’ve been working towards the #1 buildr board for nearly a year now. Plk still has like 16 weeks head start on me, but I don’t plan on quitting until I pbum her. If someone finally just up and retired her from head spot, and started giving the lower players peens, it would devalue the achievement. I want to legitimately beat the #1, I don’t want to get the “congrats,-you’re-in-second-place-but-we-feel-sorry-for-you” peen.

Quit bellyaching and just hope Ricket gets bored sometime.
