I had no idea that the planet was in danger of running out of people and that we still needed to think in terms of propagating the species. In that case, give infertile couples civil unions, too. Or those people who get married past the age of having children. Not to mention all those hetero couples who don’t want to have children.

But really, “the species” can be (and is) propagated through gay couples via IVF and surrogacy. There are a lot of ways to conceive a kid.

*sighs* I KNEW someone was going to bring this up. If you’d read the posts, plk, you’d know we aren’t talking about describing marriages in terms of who is able to have children or not. We’re merely discussing what constitutes a fetish.
