My wife (Clarity) and I have actually discussed this very topic, and we agreed that 15 or 16 is a good age for exposure at this level. There is some very good humor here, and some members I would have no problem with a 13 year old interacting with, but by and large 15 to 16 seems like a fair age to me.

That said, I like Tubsweetie’s comment about bypbuming filters. If my child is advanced enough to bypbum the protections I put on my home computers without me knowing, he or she has earned the right to decide certain things for themselves. Anyone who knows me knows that bypbuming my protections would be difficult for most but the most tech savvy adults to do, so I’m not really giving much ground on this one.
