Note, the last time I had this problem and bug reported it, then had a few tubmails between myself and trout was back in February. He might have changed his opinion since then, I dunno. What he told me was that you need to start pwning the sub-forum within 2 minutes of when you got transferred to it. He asked me if there was any reason this would not be the case, and I guess my explanation of I had to take a leak really bad(or something like that) didn’t convince him that this was worth considering a bug. I think if you do a search for pp:rotm you’ll see this issue has been discussed a few times, that is how banhammer and myself are fairly familiar with it.

I’ve been caught out by this as well, and the game does not fail elegantly. If I try to enter any forum afterwards I get the ‘are you trying to hack us?’ page. I switched machine and only got back into the forum via the link in the wiki, at which point it wouldn’t allow me to attack any threads.

And it really doesn’t matter what reason a player doesn’t start pwning immediately though. Fact is, they don’t, and then the game craps out and provides an incorrect error message because of it.
