Some more updates:

The width is now fluid and should use the full width of your browser. I don’t like the way it makes the banners look on the split page but we’ll try it out.

Over 9000 no longer blinks, it’s just red.

Due to overwhelming demand, last post is now the poster. If you moseover you get how long ago it was.

Nice work. I know you’re going to continue to get mbumive grief over the changes, but I think the general idea has a lot of merit from which you shouldn’t be dissuaded.

However, just a small nitpick, probably for after all this is dealt with… would there be a way for the “X posts unread” to stay accurate even if you jump back from the last page of, say a contest, to check the rules on the first page? From what I’m seeing now, it just checks the most recent “last post” you’ve seen, rather than the overall last post.
