I *enjoyed* 8 more than 7 – though I loved Aeris, Sephiroth, and Red XIII. In fact, I’ll admit 7’s story was better.

I loved Triple Triad, though. A lot. And the GFs. Also the gunblades. 8 was more fun to *play,* I think.

Still, whenever I think of Square, I think how much better both Tactics and Vagrant Story were. I don’t know if I’ve ever loved a game quite like I loved Vagrant Story. The item-crafting! The story! The chains!

I love Vagrant Story too. The replay factor is high. But the battle system is kinda awkward at times. Especially when fighting bosses. And I still don’t really get the story.
