hating the blood is my personal opinion… and I not only recognize that, but admit it may be perfectly fine despite. however, a different mod started a conversation about it – telling me I’m at least not alone in my dislike for the emoticon. but like I said, if you call it something other than a users name, I’ll leave it up to the hivemind… or a different mod that wants to take matters into their own hands. *shrug*

and despite my dislike for it, I’m not convinced it’s shock.. which is why it’s in quotes above.

I don’t have to like all the emoticons, but I’m not approving one that’s based on an image someone *did* get banned for and is named for and aimed at a user guaranteed to take offense.
