I’d pay about $10 I guess,

but for that i’d expect ATLEAST a good month’s worth of content, and more in the way of player-player interaction (considering thats around what most mmorpg’s charge for a month of play – and to be fair, those are fully fledged commerical games, not works in progress).

That said I prefer the donation model (I’ve chipped in $30 for a ‘free’ game, mainly because I had fun, and wish to support the devleopment team – though i’m guessing i’m in the minority there). I’d also be worried that should a pay to play system be implemented, a large proportion of the player base would leave, which would make me less likely to want to play anyway.

Just as an after though, could you not do something along the lines of, click on 1 advert = 1 forum visit (still capped at 4 obviously) for non payers?

I’m guessing that would not significantly hurt the player base, provide some income from the ‘non-payers’, and be sufficiently irritating for those that can afford to support forumwarz, to do so.
