1) If “winning bid” < “reserve price” < “winning bidder’s maximum bid”, award the item to the winning bidder for the reserve price.
2) Allow the current high bidder on an auction to rebid on the auction, increasing that bidder’s maximum bid if the new bid is in excess of that bid, otherwise returning an error.
Neither idea would seem to amount to anything more than very simple conditionals in the Kyoubai code, and both are appealing for some obvious reasons. |
