Dear Dr. Fingerz,

Teenage girl, 16 years old, complaining of lack of menstruation while everyone else at school had already started. Although she knew that she had delayed onset of menses, it wasn’t until reading an article online describing how latest onset for menses was usually around 15 years old that she became worried. Physical examination revealed that the girl had a lack of pubic hair, despite having fully developed breasts. She did not appear to be suffering from lack of nutrition. Labs came back as follows:

Elevated estradiol, slightly elevated LH, normal FSH, elevated total testosterone, normal SHBG levels.

Patient reports that she is not an athlete and denies use of any anabolic androgenic steroids. Patient is currently not undergoing any sort of medical treatment and has never received any sort of surgery. Past medical history is insignificant except that at 7 years old, she fell unconscious and pbumed out due to pain at her pelvic region.
