Yeah, I understand what it’s supposed to mean, but the way it’s grammatically laid out sounds, and reads, like bum.

Maybe…

* If you bid more than the minimum, the minimum will be listed as the current bid. You will automatically replace new bids, until someone beats your original bid.

Not perfect, but I feel it’s better.
