Hey Guys,

My warden, I mean wife, has allowed me a few minutes to shed some light on what happened to me.

On Saturday the 28th, at about 3AM, I was driving my rental on a freeway when I must have spun or something, because I was t-boned by a semi going the same direction. The police said the road was icy, so most likely that is what happened.

I don’t actually know, because I don’t remember anything from about Friday afternoon till Monday night.(Which feels weird since I haven’t lost a whole weekend since my college days)

I woke up in ICU, where they were keeping me unconscious until the swelling in my brain went down. I woke up to a mangled leg, a broken shoulder, some minor internal injuries, a face like Frankenstein’s monster, and a headache so bad I couldn’t hear or speak.

The scans and xrays show I should have no permanent damage to my head, besides the damage I’ve done myself over 30+ years of life. My hearing and speech are back to normal, but my daughter says I look like I called Superman a wuss. Did I mention it hurts to laugh still.

Next comes healing and a couple minor surgeries later on to fix a few things, but the doctors are optimistic, so I’m trying to be too. They even let me come home Friday evening, cause they said I’d get more rest and recuperation time here. I guess none of them have kids.

Chat still moves to fast for me to focus on, so you won’t find me there yet. I was only able to finish this post thanks to my lovely and patient wife, who I humbly apologize to for the warden comment. Log in to see images!

Anyways, thanks again for the warm wishes, and I hope to be failing at trolling Forumwarz sometime again in the near future.
