The point – my point, at least, is that it’s not funny. It’s not offensive, and I doubt anyone here is really saying it is.

I’m just appalled at the lack of creativity, that simply trying to be offensive (and failing) is being substituted for actually doing so.

There’s also the point that all these claims of “But I don’t really think that way! It’s just the internet!” are false, and that while the author may not be overtly racist or misogynistic, there might be subtle undertones of these things in their actual beliefs.
