Never heard of a getting an account without money. The makes the point of an account pointless. The bank would not get money out of this, so there have no reason to give you one. I have 2 accounts at a credit union and I think the minimum I have to have to keep it open is 100 (as long as it’s in there and you don’t have to pay for it). I suggest finding out how much you have to put down to have account at BoA or WaMu… then close it the next month when you’ve done what you needed.
