A drabble is a piece of fiction of exactly 100 words. For this contest, submit your own drabble on any topic in a post as a reply to this thread.

I will choose the winner at the end of one week, based on how interesting / well-written it is – no faffing about with polls as I can’t really be bothered Log in to see images! To ensure no bias, the contest cannot be won by a GGM member (although feel free to submit drabbles just for fun). The deadline for entries is Sunday night, at midnight UTC.

So, the rules:

– Entries must be exactly 100 words

– No images or emoticons can be used in the entry

– No plagiarism of another’s work (If you yourself have written one before, that’s fine)
