Up here in Michigan you can find “Mountain Holler” (Mtn. Dew) and “Dr. Thunder” (dr.P).

For my money, I love Dr. Pepper and Canada Dry ginger-ale. Both are great as mixers or on their own. And if I’m in North Carolina, I score a 12 pack of Cheerwine.

Yeah, I’ve seen both Dr Skipper and Dr Thunder. It wasa long time ago when I wouldn’t buy them simpler because their name ****ES ME OFF! I dunno why. No, no, I get the point, similar to the brand name but not quite to avoid copyright issues. But the names… there is just no creativity behind it. Skipper? What the hell? DOCTOR SKIPPER? What the HELL IS THAT? Just think about it for a minute. Same goes with Thunder. Might as well call it Dr. Salt or Dr. Mrs. Dash.

I call just see it now: Sierra Fog or Sierra Haze. Or and A&Q Rootbeer.
