Thought of this a little while ago, might as well post it. The thread might contain minor Episode 2 spoilers, for those who care, so I’ll put the parts I think are spoilers in the spoiler tag, just in case.

There’s a lot of us who have hit the level cap, and have been doing all the other mildly interesting things here that don’t relate to what the game revolves around, which is normally pwning forums. INCIT, forumbuildr, Flamebate, hell, even Gamblebot, that’s what I mean.

However, some people still pwn forums after hitting the cap for either the novelty of reading the amusing posts at that forum, or for Domination. However, those who pwn forums for either should still be rewarded with things other than .moar files and scoops.

In my opinion, one should continue to gain Cred after the level cap, never to get to the next level until it is raised. Therefore, you are still being rewarded for pwning forums with levels, they just aren’t coming until the cap is raised.

Now, this is all bumuming that the cap will be raised. After all, making the final forum in Episode 3 level 35 would be kind of silly, seeing as most of us at the cap can pwn Cosplay Central/Fetish Emporium, whether it’s easy or hard, most of us can.

So, tl;dr, keep getting cred, even though we won’t gain levels until the cap is raised.
