My point is that if a Mod knows that it’s ‘friendly, playful banter’, then, at the Mod’s discretion, it can be ignored. (Might help if an emoticon was used to suggest lightheartedness, or even a closer that clarified that.)

But the Mod may not know that two players are just poking good-natured fun at each other. That’s why I called it a gray area. To be on the safe side, don’t push that envelope unless you know that McBan & Tubs both know the score.
