At any rate, the changes I’ve mentioned will happen on Wednesday. I’m open to other things with regards to alts allowed into raids, leeching, limiting/separating solo vs klan vanilla.

I’ve said my opinion, so I’m going to leave it up to the community to discuss.

Yesterday, you were talking about upping the solo vanilla within a raid to the same as a solo outside of a raid. Follow me here for a second.

This gives a player the same number of scoops (actually, more) than if they leeched in a raid and solo’d by themselves. Solo 72, plus raid 133 (bumuming 11 chars actually pwning) for a total of 205.

Let’s say you have a raid with 4 mains that want to leech and 9 alts that are pwning forums. bumuming 12 visits on the 9 alts, you still only get 97 scoops from the raid, plus what any other solo player would get. Add the 72 solos that the leeching player would get and you only have 169 scoops.

There’s nothing you can do to stop leeching entirely. You can make it heavily discouraged and you can make it so klannies get ****ed at each other if it happens, but if there’s a an agreement to do it, you’re never going to stop it.

So where’s the harm in allowing the alts into the raid, effectively decreasing the scoop return for the mains and letting people have their fun?

Now that most klans have had their testing raids to see what’s actually changed and how those changes affect them (and basically discarded raiding as much of an option), I’d be shocked to see more than 10 raids this week – and I’d put money on those also being testing raids.

Requiring 10-13 different people to be online at the same time and willing to raid for an effective scoop return is just unrealistic.
