Apparently hatchlings can get sick as well, since it happened to mine. According to this thread: http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=3931 , there are two kinds causes of sickness/soft shell:
1) Clicks > Unique Views. 2) Too many views in too short of time.
The way to fix the second kind? As strange as it sounds, stop spamming your dragon. Put it in a fog for a few days, and everything should be fine. If you feel compelled to spam dragons, get new ones, like I did: Log in to see images!
Edit: 2000 (roughly half unique) views in 12 hours is apparently too many, I don’t know any other numbers. Possibly a Cabbage edited this message on 02/02/2009 8:15PM
