Mind you, it’ll come in handy for getting stuff off the ‘net, like import games (we get totally shafted on prices down here).

Don’t get an actual credit card. Get one of those “credit gift cards” that you can just load $20 or whatever onto. It functions basically as a giftcard to anywhere.
