Endash, I love the idea, but this site has some major problems. Here’s a proposal from me:

This site is very confusing and difficult to use, not to mention has an extremely limited song selection. We would likely have better luck telling people to dig up audacity, install it, rip from a youtube vid of karaoke, then host on the internet archive. I can post instructions in the thread if you like.

Alternately, what are our feelings towards cover songs, where people record their own music in addition to singing? I can tell you right now that I would love to hear GS49 sing the my little pony theme.
