well, sur is the same sound as sir anyway, isn’t it? and sar and sear pretty much require vowels there. the sir sound much more common in words/names that don’t have vowels in “normal” places

and scully hit the nail on the head… at least for the way my brain pronounces it. when the brain is being incredibly lazy, I move the r and it becomes strop it… but sir top it is the “right” way in my head
