I believe up until August 2008 the age of consent in Canada was 14. Now it is 16, but I think as long as there is less than a 5 year age gap (4 or less), it’s fine. So 14 year olds and 18 year olds are fine. And I believe until August, the 4 year rule applied until age 12.
