Well, in cases like that, I never have a problem using another attack (I’ve got plenty of them) – it’s not like you can overpwn a thread. Problem I have with it is that it costs you another potential hit… if you’re lucky, that wasted hit misses, and you don’t lose any ego. But in forums like Cosplay or Emporium (aka F-16 Central *fapfapfap*), it really REALLY gets on my nerves when there’s that potential for a 450-point hit, that may or may not miss, just because of a slip in statistics.
