People have done more annoying things to the community and been let back. People have made bots that affected gameplay leaderboards, made many illegal alts, screwed up domination for weeks, botted posts in flamebate that ruined competitions, and done worse than that and have been let back.

This should have merited a temp ban at best, since no enforced rules were in place before this to make him (or us that encouraged this) think it would result in a permaban.
