in 1984, the Party tried to eliminate sex yet Winston and Julia were still inclined to have sex due to basic human inclinations (things that not even the Party can suppress yet… )
that was a book (idealistic situations) eliminating sex in reality would be even worse since there are a lot more than 2 potential anomalies
