(pre-post edit) Actually, fwz uses theplanet.com dedicated server hosting. They’ve got a DS plan for a multi-core, multi-CPU server (which fwz uses) for up to $299/month on a reasonable server. So that definitively answers that question.

Oh, smooth move, find the most expensive backup software you can find, and bumume CZ uses it. PROTIP: Everything software-wise in *nix is free. Backup software is free as well. Doesn’t take much to export a MySQL database and tar|gzip everything.

Let’s just bumume they bothered to make a server that was worth having/using. I know I wouldn’t use some crap I had laying around to host my site.

I came up with about half that, $3,610 a year including domains, not including paying staff or profits. And that’s bumuming the most expensive dedicated server hosting.

And the rest is history.

Without figuring in artwork and media for the site. And even using your own numbers. They would have to have 360 people pay for Ep2 just to break even. That doesn’t include the money for the back up software that they say they use. And forgive me if I think that the creators of this awesome site, that you spend your time blasting them about, deserve a little money. The people that run this clearly loose money overall amd making this game would take forever.

Before you point out that they have ads on the site, you should know from hosting your own sites that they pay next to nothing.

Also, you get to play Ep1 for free. If you really have that much of a problem, don’t buy Ep2. Just play it for free and walk away.

And throughout all of your arguments you have yet to name a time that you hosted a game like this on your own free for everyone to use.

Till then shut the **** up, or get the **** out.
