If people are getting owned and convicted without actually being guilty,

then the legal system is more ****ed up than i am.

Fix the legal system and problem is solved.

Also, let everyone have a chance at this rehabilitation process.

Those that change and become good people are released after the intense therapy. Those that remain evil are sentenced. This way, all people get two shots at being good. This way, anyone that messes up once gets a second try at reform.

Since all people are getting two chances, more time is given for the actual investigations to take place. This means that more evidence can be collected and analyzed. This means that innocent people will get justice much more often. True criminals have a greater chance of being stopped from committing further crimes.
