I heard the lead guitarist from Mayhem committed suicide live on stage by grabbing a shotgun and ventilating his head after saying “I WANT YOU ALL TO HAVE A PEICE OF ME”. Some say their fans kept fragments of his skull as a souvenir.

Two Mayhem band members have died, neither in the way you just described. I can’t be bothered to explain who, how and why – I’ll let Wikipedia do it:

As much hate as Mayhem get though, I really like them. They’ve made some great music over the years, though Attila is ****ing overrated – I preferred Maniac.
