Not fair means cirgreat timesstances outside the players control. Deciding through luck, rather than planning or skill, who ‘wins’. So I maximise my chances, I put in the effort, I do everything right, and all that effort go down the drain through a random die roll. Do you understand the frustration? What’s the point in playing a game with just a blatantly unfair playing field, since winning means as little as losing under such cirgreat timesstances. It diminishes the experience, indirectly, even for the lucky ones.
If you play dom, you save visits to go for solo vanilla. There’s a built in and strong incentive to have your visits at 8 before rollover. So, the game is slanted towards a proportion of those players (depending which day they started saving) getting screwed when you get an extra unannounced rollover. The timing of the extra rollover puts players in certain timezones at a disadvantage, since if they’re sleeping etc, they don’t get to use the extra visits. Sucks to be European, or to have other things to do at the weekend, even if you planned a good amount of time to play – your dom week was called off while you were away from your PC.
Worst of all, I would have hoped ET learned from the last time, and all of the patently logical and obvious problems pointed out with such an unfair free gift. Obviously not. meeeeeeeeee edited this message on 11/29/2008 7:25PM |
