That’s an interesting idea.

One of the potential problems with rare threads would be if they popped up randomly when someone underleveled was trying to pwn a forum for the story and wound up getting screwed over because a rare thread appeared that he wasn’t prepared for. The previous idea was just that they’d only appear after the forum has been pwned by the player at least once, but that doesn’t make much sense lore-wise. Maybe a special type of Web Spider or something would allow the player to “locate threads by important members” within a forum or something. Though I don’t want there to be too much new equipment for such a system.
