Seems like I made the right choice in having him get the chaingun first, otherwise you might of had to fight that sucker without it. Anyway, you should be able to enjoy the Cacodemon with the chaingun and still have time to demolish the demon before it reaches you. *nike swoosh aka just do it*

Yelling angrily at his new foe, fine upstanding member of society turns the full might of his new chaingun against it…..missing it with nearly every single shot. Unleashing a fresh volley, he grazes its side. Enraged, the creature retaliates, sending another plasma blast at the marine…

...hitting the demon, which was dumb enough to run into its firing line. The blast hits it full in the back, and the explosion scorches both demons badly. Barely able to contain his laughter, fine upstanding member of society mows down the nearly-dead demon, his shots carrying through to hit the cacodemon floating behind it. It tries to ready a third blast, but expire midway through, leaking plasma energy from its mouth as it crashes to the ground.

fine upstanding member of society feels hardened by his experience, and feels that rush of knowledge again…
