Leaderboard tax. If you’re at the top of a leaderboard, you pay a tax. An incentive not to leaderboard hog, to balance your peen incentive to hog, which as an added bonus removes flezz from the top end of the economy. You get the peen, and you pay some flezz for it. It needn’t be a large tax, just enough for players to slowly catch up, while players at the top try to avoid the tax. Crude, but something this economy is lacking at the moment – a few checks and balances.
