In truth yes, the flezz peen had become alot like the forum visits one. Well anyway, my plan was to win by stealth. Roadblocks on the way (as usual, SG and her crazy antics) couldn’t be anticipated, but I was pretty close for a long while, which was incentive enough to stick with the same strategy. If the changes that were actually needed to stabilise the economy had been implemented, there would have been some edge to be had for making compromises elsewhere (like the usual one of not going for streaks) I was sticking it out to await the balance changes, but wasn’t expecting those balance changes to enjoy my chances whilst leaving the leaders intact. You saw here that ET didn’t anticipate that players were holding large amounts of flezz in items – that in turn means he didn’t take us into account when he made these changes.

I didn’t just lose the peen, I also lost my relative standing with players I was competing against (which is quite different to the consequences of the Obama tax) An annoucement of the change would have helped in this regard (again, different to the Obama tax) as then it wouldn’t have hurt anyone to an unfair degree – just those who aren’t paying attention, who are legitimate targets.

Flezz will presumably have a use at some point, or CZ have failed and we need a new currency (another word for a reset) If that’s the case and flezz does have meaning, then yes, this nerf hurt me and others unfairly, while players who sold all their junk escaped unscathed.

A minority of leaderboard competitors got penalised here, and it did nothing to fix the actual problem, which is that there’s nowhere for your flezz total to go but up. This change didn’t make anything better – getting worse at half the speed is still getting worse.
