What a night. Though from the beginning it was all but thrilling who would win the election, I enjoyed it.

With a closer look at the campaign now it’s over, there are some similarities between America’s new leader and Germany’s former one. Eat this:

– both men used new media to push their campaign over the limit.

it gave them a boost, Hitler had the radio for everyone, called

“Volksempfänger”, which would be people’s receiver in English.

Obama was the first candidate to benefit heavily from cyber culture

– both have elements of socialism in their ideology or political

vision, which help convincing the working clbum that conservative

politics are outdated and off the hook

– a financial crisis dominated the state of the nation when

both were elected. the focus on an economic theme decided

both elections

– mbum hypnosis.

to unite the people it needs symbols ans slogans. both men had them.

When I watched tv yesterday, I saw people, mostly women, with a smile

on their faces, as if they were totally high. Shouting “yes we can” over

and over again. My grandma likes to tell a story about her youth. She

had a crush on Rudolf Heß, a leading nazi. Her best friend then liked

Hitler, because she always wanted the best.
