It looks like prop 8 is going through, unless the supreme court overturns it as unconstitutional, which I’m hoping it does.

I’m straight but here’s my gay opinion:

According to the US gov. marriage is not about love or having children, all it means to them is tax revenue. IMO this means they should stay the **** out of people’s personal lives. The biggest proponents of prop 8 in Cali are the mormons, who, btw, are polygamists, thus that whole argument that it’s supposed to be between a man and woman is bull****, apparently, according to them it can be a man and as many wives as he can afford.

I’m saying it’s about time, now that we have the election to rally the interbums for rights of gay union. The way I’m seeing it, marriage, as far as the government is concerned is about giving a tax break to those that share bills. Now even of the mind that two hetero room mates should reap the benefits, but lets pick one battle at a time. If people share bills, they should be afforded certain tax exemptions. It’s not like we’re having a population crisis and we need to have more babies on our agenda. If anything America is ****ed and can’t afford what it already has (food and forclosure crises anyone?).

Give good lives to those that we have, increase the standard of living and use the unwanted extra dead babies for stem cells. Take a pragmatic view and **** the fundamentalist subjective views of right and wrong anon. Think of what will benefit humanity most. Fight propositions 8
