I think this is even more of a problem with hijacks than with shock sites, because shock sites tend to be much more well known. I don’t want to have to google every link in chat before I click on it, just in case somebody’s being a douchebag (well, more of a douchebag than usual).

That’s a good point. Maybe when IDC logging turns on it’ll be do-able. Right now we have no proof unless a mod is actually in chat when it happens. Taking someone’s word for it isn’t good enough.

It would be a good idea to make url tags disabled so they only show the link and no user-text.
