Frankly, the bots that were running in Knights before this became a public posting only peen were far more abusive than holding BP giveaways.

Overall this is just a ridiculous peen, and coming from such a self professed peenwhore like me, that is saying a lot.

I fully admit to using contests to get both this, and the miss popularity peen. In no way does it make either peen illegitimate. Botting can be argued as illegitimate because of automation, but contests are, at worst, using (and perhaps to a small extent, abusing) an existing system for personal gain.

Besides, managing that last contest was a pain in the bum that got way out of hand.
