I would have to suggest Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen

description: you play as a nobleman named Kain who gets murdered outside a tavern one day and is reincarnated as a vampire by a necromancer. You then set out on a quest to turn yourself back to normal… and find the people responsible for your death and rip their faces off. it involves lots of turning people inside-out, excessive gore, and just overall creepiness.
The Legacy of Kain series actually continues on over several games and has a complex and fulfilling storyline… if you can tolerate the somewhat boring game play. |
