Superman is lame because nothing ever hurts him, he feels no pain, no loss, nothing gets to him… which is why the worst thing someone can do isn’t some lame-bum kryptonite delivery system, but to threaten his untouchable normalcy. Superman is unscarred. That’s what makes him lame. Batman… Batman is so ****ing functionally emo that it’s amazing… That’s why Batman’s better. Because he acknowledges his pain and still ****ing gets up everyday and confronts problems bigger than himself, even though he’s not whole. Batman is the best we could ever be, Superman is unattainable.
