Well, you’re definitely on the right path. I would trade in Swallow the Sun for Esoteric though. You really need to check them out. They’re perhaps the most important death/doom band ever. Thorr’s Hammer is a great band if you can find their stuff. My Dying Bride might appeal to you too.

If you like it even slower, definitely check out the Funeral Doom genre. Ahab, Thergothon and Wormphlegm are all for you.

Outside extreme doom, I also like the more traditional side. Reverend Bizarre, Withcfinder General, Black Sabbath, Funeral, Lamented Souls and KYPCK all have great clean vocals and some awesome heavy riffs.
