Every MMO has grinding to some extent. And I think WoW is one of the easiest ones out there: You take 2 weeks to get to the max level. Go play something like Ragnarok Online or Lineage 2, where you take at least 3 months to get to max level, and in case of Ragnarok, another 3~6 months to reborn and take your transclbum to the max level.

Guild wars. Take two week to get max level, get skills you need, and get good equips. Then enjoy balanced PvP, or do missions that take 20-30 minutes if that instead of doing 2 hour long instances run. Plus, WoW has nothing to really keep you hooked in grinding keeping it fun, until you are a high level. This is just my opinion though so yeah.
